Machine Records' earliest releases were all distributed primarily as special CD-R limited editions. We aimed to make each CD-R a work of art in its own right.

We have three original 2004 versions of this amazing album by Superimpozer. It features beautiful original artwork by Dan Haines printed on high-quality photographic paper, nestled inside a clear plastic slipcase. The CD-R disc has a full-face printed top.

Thanks to the plastic slipcase and careful storage, it remains in brand new condition.

about

Superimpozer's debut album, Lines Of Flight, coming just a few months after the release of the Psy-Ops EP, unveils 12 brand-new tracks from an extraordinary new electronica talent, 22-year old Rowan Porteous.

Taking the approach of Rowan's earlier work to a new level of sophistication, Lines Of Flight is a unique exploration of angular, dynamic beats, fragmented melodies, and glitchy atmospherics. Rowan's familiar live trumpet, percussive arrangements, and mashed up electronics are here augmented with guitar and flute performances from Robbie Carlton and Ruth Makoff, all to spectacular effect.

SOUND NATION: "A fine album of intelligent, scrawling dub-techno and jarring glitch-hop, two separate styles which come together remarkably successfully on Lines Of Flight. Could Superimpozer become 2005's electronica ultrakult?"
